About

The Anchorjak System

Anchorjak™, developed by the Glass Vice installation team, is a purpose-built adjustable pedestal decking system designed for modern construction in New Zealand. Engineered from real on-site experience, Anchorjak provides a cost-effective, durable, and reliable solution for creating level, permeable outdoor decks.

The system works seamlessly with timber decking, porcelain tiles, and aluminium or timber subframes, making it ideal for rooftop terraces, membrane decks, patios, and architectural outdoor spaces.

A unique feature of the Anchorjak system is its ability to support balustrade loads through timber joists from 90mm to 190mm, helping designers and builders minimise penetrations through waterproof membranes while maintaining structural performance.

Manufactured from injection-moulded polypropylene, Anchorjak pedestals are engineered for strength and durability, with each unit tested to withstand over 750kg of downward load.

The Anchorjak range includes six base pedestal sizes from 20mm to 65mm, with pedestal extenders available to achieve greater deck heights and accommodate a wide range of construction requirements and are available for sale direct from the J Vice website or on special order from a range of merchants including Anzor

Anchorjak delivers a simple, adjustable, and high-performance pedestal decking system trusted by architects, builders, and installers across New Zealand.
